New Zealand Flax is a large, bold plant with stiffly vertical, sword-like, green leaves that arise from its base. It should be grown under full sun for best color. Varieties will offer different growth habits and leaf color.

This medium-size weeping tree will grow to about 40' tall and has a whitish/brown bark with deciduous green leaves. This is one tree that can be planted in a lawn area but is not recommended for drought tolerant designs.

Mueller's Fescue

This Central European native fescue has shiny, dark green foliage that is slightly bluish green. It is a cool season grass that grows up to 8 inches tall and equally wide. If massed together it can become a lawn alternative.

Coyote Bush

Botanical name:Baccharis pilularis 'Pigeon Point'

'Pigeon Point' is a compact, evergreen ground cover that grows 18"- 24" tall and 10'-12' wide. It is the preferred form of the Coyote Bush. Its leaves are green; it has white flowers that bloom in the fall. It is important to plant this groundcover that are at least 6' -10' apart. Otherwise they will overgrow each other and create a high groundcover. 'Pigeon Point' is tolerant of ocean spray and is deer resistant.
